Another 63 thefts from motor vehicles were reported to Kamloops Mounties last week.

That's down slightly when compared to the previous week (Sept. 2 to 8), when police had 68 calls

From Sept. 9 to 15, thieves hit the majority of local neighbourhoods, including Lower Sahali, Aberdeen, North Kamloops, Westsyde, Downtown and Brock. Three incidents happened in the rural part of town and another one took place in Campbell Creek (not shown on map).

Police started releasing the maps to the community in early July, in an effort to increase public awareness around not leaving valuables in your car.
