Aberdeen Mall is looking to Kamloopsians to help them collect items for the Kamloops Hospice Association.

Mall representatives will be at the Oct. 3 Kamloops Blazers game against the Portland Winterhawks to collect donations.

Items being sought are not big or extravagant; in fact, they are quite the opposite. The wish list includes Kleenex, batteries (AAA, AA, C and D), tea, Kirkland coffee cans, combs and brushes, as well as disposable razors, Biotene mouthwash and grocery store gift cards.

Kristi Williams, the mall's marketing and specialty leasing manager, says this is the first time a drive of this sort has been done for the Kamloops Hospice Association. She hopes that Kamloops residents not only support their efforts but help spread the word, too.

Those who cannot make it to the game can bring their items to the Aberdeen Mall’s guest service station anytime between now and game day.

Everyone who donates an item will be entered to win a $250 Aberdeen Mall gift card. For a full list of wish list items, click HERE.
