All Kamloops water parks now open

Beat the heat this weekend by hitting up one of the city's water parks.

From now until September, they'll all be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m daily.

Here's all the info (courtesy of Tourism Kamloops):

DOWNTOWN

Riverside Park, Beach and Waterpark

Amenities: Basketball, Beach, Lawn Bowling, Pickleball, Picnic, Playground, Restroom, Tennis, Waterpark

100 Lorne St.

Prince Charles Park and Wading Pool

Amenities: Basketball, Picnic, Playground, Restroom, Wadingpool, Dogs Allowed (on leash)

1145 Nicola St.

 

SAHALI/ABERDEEN

Albert McGowan Park and Waterpark

Amenities: Picnic, Playground, Restroom, Slopitch, Soccer, Waterpark

2025 Summit Dr.

NORTH SHORE

McDonald Park

Amenities: Basketball, Dogs Allowed, Pickleball, Picnic, Playground, Restroom, Waterpark, Dogs Allowed (on leash)

501 McDonald Ave.

WESTSYDE

Westsyde Centennial Park and Petting Zoo

Amenities: Horse Riding, Lacrose, Outdoor Rink, Picnic, Playground, Restroom, Skating, Slopitch, Soccer, Tennis, Waterpark

705 Franklin Rd.

Just a reminder that the Brock outdoor pool opens on Sunday, June 3. There will be a free swim from 1 to 8 p.m. that day. The pool is at 2470 Fleetwood Ave.
