The 20-minute documentary Peaks and Valleys exploring Ryan Shtuka's disappearance more than a year ago has debuted on YouTube on Telus's Storyhive channel.

The documentary, made by local trio Jared Featherstone, Russell Walton, and Allan McVicar (who formed Past 11 Productions to make the film), was posted to Storyhive this morning (July 15).

It'll debut on a local silver screen later today, as a free premier event is being held at Paramount Theatre at 7 p.m.

Donations at the event will go towards Kamloops Search and Rescue.

The documentary includes archival footage from Shtuka's childhood along with interviews with Shtuka's parents, friends, police, local reporters, and searchers.

It discusses the search, investigation, and theories in the search for the missing young man.
