Explore Kamloops: Spahats Falls

This week, our go-to explorer Nigel Baillargeon visited Spahats Falls in Wells Gray Provincial Park.

The trip is only an hour-and-a-half drive north of Kamloops.

"For the general public, there is a nice wooden viewing platform at the top of the falls, and for the adventurous a steep trail that leads to the bottom," he tells KamloopsMatters. "My recommendations are only attempting the hike to the bottom of the falls if you are an experienced hiker since it's steep and slippery."

The hike is two kilometres one way, to the base of the falls, he adds.

KamloopsMatters will feature one of Nigel's videos every Friday. If you have an adventurous spirit, make sure to check back!
