Explore Kamloops: Weyman Falls

Calling all hikers!

Love hiking and waterfalls? Then this one's for you.

Local explorer Nigel Baillargeon recently went up to Weyman Falls, about 75 kilometres from Kamloops.

"The drive is very scenic as you pass farmlands along Douglas Lake Road," he says.

The falls are only a short (but steep) 15-minute hike from the road.

Baillargeon doesn't recommend veering off the trail as there are some steep cliffs around the falls.

Check out his video above. You can also subscribe to his YouTube channel or follow him on Instagram. Search for nigel.explores.

KamloopsMatters will feature one of Nigel's videos every Friday. If you have an adventurous spirit, make sure to check back!
