Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) put out a "really small" grassfire on the Tk'emlups te Secwepemc reserve this afternoon.
Only one truck was needed to handle the fire located just off the Yellowhead Highway.
"We had an engine, a tender and a bush truck respond and all of them were stood down except for the bush truck," says Shawn Davidson with KFR.
Davidson says the cause was people doing yard maintenance.
This is the second grass fire reported this week, though the first was much larger. KFR along with 10 B.C. Wildfire Service firefighters responded to a fire west of Kamloops Airport on Monday.
