Kamloops Venom burn South Okanagan Flames for first road win of the season

The Kamloops Venom collected their first road win of the year in Penticton last night (May 6), besting the South Okanagan Flames 12-11.

Kordell Primus, Trey Dergousoff and Mykl Drabiuk had two goals each as the Venom rallied from an early hole, trailing 5-1 after the first period. 

Callum Gorman, Jordan Bunce, Mason Suppanz, Nolan Virgo, Bill Brewer and Kaden Dempsey also scored one each for Kamloops, while Reed Watson stopped 37 of 48 shots in net.

The Venom dropped their first game of the year on Saturday night (May 4) in Vernon, losing 10-8 to the host Tigers.

After two weeks, Kamloops sits at 3-1 on the season and in sole possession of first in the three-team Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League (TOJLL).
