LETTERS: Community can't forget about displaced TREC and Four Directions students

Parkcrest Elementary burned down on Sept. 5. (via Brendan Kergin)

Dear Editor:

As a parent of two Parkcrest Elementary students, I am overwhelmed at the amount of support and free activities provided for our children this week while they are out of school.

However, I think we also need to acknowledge the changes the Twin Rivers Education Centre (TREC) and Four Directions are also having to endure to accommodate us at George Hilliard.

This community really needs to recognize and support these teens too.

Maybe free activities should also be available to this group of students too? Is there any way you can help spread the word to support these kids?

Let's show them that we support them too.

Any way you can help would be appreciated.
