The summer weather is slowly slipping in and with it comes another season of fairs, rodeos, and of course, the much anticipated West Coast Amusements.
The carnival will be pulling into town next week and setting up for a five-day span, April 18 to 22, in the Aberdeen Mall parking lot.
“Binge on our amazing rides like the Scrambles, Hurricane, Himalaya, and the classic Ferris Wheel,” states their website. “Leave yourself dizzy and delighted, challenge yourself or dare your friends to our spectacular rides, or let your kids loose in Kiddieland.”
Those interested in attending have a number of options for ride entry, depending on your budget and interest.
A single gold ticket costs just $1.25, while a red book (20 tickets) is $25, and a blue book (40 tickets) is $45.
A wristband gives you full-day access for $40; those looking for a better deal can bring in two canned food items on April 18 and receive a wristband for $35. If you can’t make it on the 18th but would still like a deal, you can get a flyer covering six rides for $18.99 at the guest service desk in the Aberdeen Mall.
“West Coast Amusements has rides for all ages and all levels of riding.” the official website says. “Our rides are constantly upgraded for safety, and are kept clean by our crew.”
Opening hours are set from 3–10 p.m. April 18; 12–10 p.m. April 19, 20, and 21; and 12–6 p.m. April 22. These hours, however, are dependent on weather and guest attendance.
