An Indigenous youth group called 5S and youth homelessness advocate A Way Home Kamloops are partnering in a tasty way tomorrow, Feb. 11.

In an effort to raise money for the Safe Suites project A Way Home Kamloops is developing, 5S is chipping in by running a taco night with an Indigenous twist. The youth group will be selling the tacos from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the A Way Home Kamloops location at 653 Victoria St.

Entrance to the event will be $2. Tacos and a beverage will be $8.

T-shirts are also going to be sold by 5S as part of a challenge to raise money for the Safe Suites project.

The Safe Suites project aims to get seven youth off the streets of Kamloops and into low-barrier housing.
