Christmas has come early for one Barriere couple.

Sheron Rehbein and Daniel Comeau won $675,000 after they scratched a Set for Life ticket.

“I usually buy the crosswords, I don’t know what drew me to this ticket this particular time,” says Sheron in a press release. “As soon as I saw the three matching symbols I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t wait to tell Dan.”

As for what the two plan to do with their winnings? Sheron says she’s looking to get an antique ring restored while Daniel has his eyes on a new camper.

“I would love to buy some property with a cabin, and maybe have some animals. Something like that has always been a dream,” he says.

The winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven on Eighth Street in Kamloops.
