Riverside Park is going to be a bit bouncier for one day in May.
Mega Bounce Run, a company with a giant inflatable track, will be taking over the downtown park May 11.
The course, which covers five-kilometres, includes an obstacle section called 'Pillow Land' and a two storey slide, according to the company's website.
In total there are nine inflatable obstacles.
The race lets heats of people run 150 people at a time and if you enjoy a certain spot, you can go back and run it again, until the heat behind you catches up.
Vendors will also be on site, and a DJ and emcee will be on hand to pump-up participants.
Organizers tell KamloopsMatters it's the first time the race has come to Kamloops and the Riverside Park location looks amazing.
According to the website, the event is currently 54 per cent sold out.
Tickets for the experience are currently $64 for adults and $49 for youth (up to 18).
Family passes are also available for the all ages activity.
Things start around 10 a.m. and will run to 1 p.m. (the last heat starts at noon) near the tennis courts at Riverside Park.
The inflatable race will continue on to northern B.C. after its stint in Kamloops.
