Though the school bell is still a week and a half away from ringing, the South Kamloops Titans want to remind prospective players that training camp begins this weekend.

The senior varsity team starts practice this Saturday (Aug. 24) at 4 p.m. at the school's field, located at 821 Munro St. The senior Titans finished last season 2-2, before they fell in the playoffs 42-14 to Prince George Secondary.

The junior varsity team will hold their first practice on Monday (Aug. 26) at 6 p.m. They also finished last season at .500, going 3-3 and losing in the first round of the playoffs to College Heights.

Both squads are returning 30 players from last year. Anyone interested in playing, who is currently enrolled at SKSS from Grade 8 to 12, is invited to attend practices.
