Thompson Rivers University WolfPack owned the day on Saturday, but the Prairie Baseball Academy Dawgs rose from the dead on Sunday to earn a four-game series split over the Easter weekend.

In their home opener on March 31, the WolfPack treated fans to a thrilling 5-4 walk-off win. Trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the ninth, TRU managed to load the bases before pitching miscues did PBA in. First, Adam Filmon was able to score on a walk to tie the game. Then the next throw was a wild pitch that allowed Jordy Cunningham to score the game winner.

The second game of the day wasn't nearly as dramatic, as the WolfPack won a no-doubter 8-0. Matt Pidlisecky led the way offensively going 3 for 5, including a two-run homer. Tyler Moskalyk threw a complete game shutout, fanning nine batters.

On April 1, the visiting Dawgs found their offence, winning 11-7 and 15-5. Cole Paquin and Scott Wood were saddled with losses that day.

The next games for TRU are on Thursday, April 5, when they travel to Okanagan College to take on the Coyotes. Games at 4 and 7 p.m. and can be viewed live on the WolfPack's YouTube channel.
