The Thompson Rivers curling squad is hoping the third time is the charm when they face the Alberta Pandas today (March 28) for gold at the 2018 USPORTS Nationals.

The WolfPack rink lost to the Pandas in the finals in both 2015 and 2016, before taking last season off.

Corryn Brown was skipper for both silver medals, and in her final season with the team, she has one last shot at revenge after defeating the Brock Badgers 8-7 in last night's semifinal.

Alberta defeated Mount Allison 8-3 in their semifinal.

Both teams finished the round robin 5-2, but the Pandas beat the WolfPack 10-5 on Saturday.

The final gets underway at 11 a.m. local time in Leduc, Alberta.

It's available for streaming on CBC, or below.
